Cookie Policy
Information about how the CISCAL TECH website uses cookies and similar technologies.
Last updated: March 2026
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to website owners. Similar technologies include localStorage, which stores data in your browser.
2. Our Approach to Cookies
We take a privacy-first approach. Our website sets a single functional cookie to remember your language choice, and nothing else. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, analytics cookies, advertising pixels, or any other tracking technologies.
3. Essential Storage
Our website sets one functional cookie:
- NEXT_LOCALE: set by our website framework (next-intl) when you select a language, so the site can remember your language preference as you browse. It contains only a language code (for example "en", "es" or "it"), holds no personal data, is not used for tracking, and expires at the end of your browser session.
Beyond this cookie, our website does not use browser storage such as localStorage or sessionStorage.
4. Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics, a cookieless analytics service from our hosting provider (Vercel). It records anonymised page views to help us understand how the site is used. It does not set cookies, does not use browser storage, does not track you across websites, and does not collect personally identifiable information. No advertising cookies are used. Because it is cookieless and anonymised, no consent is required for it under GDPR or PECR.
5. Managing Cookies
The only cookie we set is a functional one, stored in response to your explicit language choice, so no cookie banner or consent mechanism is required. You can manage cookies through your browser settings at any time. Most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies from specific or all websites. If you delete the NEXT_LOCALE cookie, the site will simply fall back to your browser's language preferences.
6. Third-Party Cookies
The interactive map on our contact page loads map tiles from CARTO, a third-party provider; these requests do not set cookies on your device (see our Privacy Policy for details of what CARTO receives). We do not embed social media tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics that set cookies.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this cookie policy from time to time. If we introduce any non-essential cookies in the future, we will implement an appropriate consent mechanism before doing so. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
